Digital transformation in health economics

The value of digital health. Is health economics ready for digital transformation? This is the title of an upcoming English-language international conference organised by the Medical and Health Economics Unit of the Hungarian Economic Association, the Health Economics Department of the Budapest Corvinus University, and the University’s Health Economics Circle. The event will start at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 25 February 2020 in lecture hall 9 of Building C of the Budapest Corvinus University (H-1093 Budapest, Fővám tér 13-15).

The conference will start with a presentation by Katarzyna Kolasa, professor of Poland’s Kozminski University. Further presentations will be given by  István Csizmadia, senior advisor and international projects officer of the State Health Care Supplies Centre; Gergő Merész, head of the Technology Evaluation Department of the National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition; and Zsolt Szombathelyi, advisor to the CEO of Richter Gedeon Nyrt. The conference will be presided by Márta Péntek, lecturer at the Corvinus University, and chairperson of HEA’s Medical and Health Economics Unit.
