Pál Demény, external member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, internationally renowned and influential figure in the field of Hungarian demography, passed away on 18 October at the age of 91. His life and work will be commemorated by his former friends and colleagues in an online discussion organised by the Demographic Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Thursday, 7 November 2024, from 14:30.
