The economic benefits of career counselling – this is the title of an online professional event organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) in cooperation with the Economic Review and the Career Guidance Section of the Hungarian Pedagogical Society (MPT) on Thursday 29 May 2025, from 14:00 on Webex and on the YouTube channel of the HEA. The event will be inspired by an essay by Tibor Borbély-Pecze Bors, Vice President of the MPT, published in the April 2025 issue of the Economic Review.
At the beginning of the event, the author, Tibor Bors Borbély-Pecze, Vice President of the MPT and President of the Career Guidance Section of the MPT, will present the main findings of the study. The invited speakers are Judit Kálmán, Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the BCE and Gyula László, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs. The discussion will be moderated by Ildikó Bihari, Associate Professor at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology, University of Debrecen. Tamás Halm, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic Review, will welcome the audience.
