The board of the European Union Section of the HEA has been expanded with a new member: Ambassador Péter Mocsáry, EU integration advisor to the Government of the Republic of Serbia. During the recently concluded leadership renewal, members expressed their confidence for another three-year term in the section’s president, Gábor Iván, Director at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union.
The section’s secretary, Imre Juhász, a retired civil servant and former embassy counselor, has also received the trust of voting members for another three years. In addition, Zsolt Becsey—former Member of the European Parliament, former State Secretary for External Economic Affairs, and associate professor at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary—remains a member of the board. Orsolya Szijjártó, former ambassador, investor, and expert in EU funding and tourism, also continues her board membership.
We hereby congratulate the members of the HEA European Union Section’s executive board on their election and wish them every success in their work!
