The position of co-president will continue to be held by László Sándor Vajda, honorary university professor, while the role of secretary will remain with Endre Szelényi, honorary university professor.
Based on the members’ decision, the executive board of the HEA’s Agricultural and Food Industry Section now includes the following professionals: Tímea Guzsván, rural development engineer and farmer; András Halász, associate professor at MATE; Levente Iványi, agricultural entrepreneur; Anikó Juhász, scientific advisor at Széchenyi István University and former state secretary; Zsombor Páll, economic analyst at the Ministry of Agriculture; Levente Elemér Pintér, agricultural modernization expert at the Ministry of Agriculture; László Rieger, honorary university professor; and István Tresó, bank manager.
In order to strengthen the scientific foundation of its professional work, the section’s executive board has established a Scientific Council. Its members are Miklós Maácz, rural development expert; István Kapronczai, researcher; and Gábor Udovecz, researcher—the latter two are former directors general of the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics.
