Where Next for Hungarian Sport? Under this title, the Sports Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) will host a professional roundtable discussion on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. at the HEA Community Space (ELTE Faculty of Law, Building B, 1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti út 10–12, 4th floor, Room 403) and on the HEA YouTube channel.
The participants in the discussion will be Krisztián Berki, Olympic champion gymnast, General Vice President of the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation, and Board Member of the HEA Sports Economics Section; Krisztián Kulcsár, Member of Parliament, World and European Champion, Olympic silver medalist Hungarian épée fencer, and former President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee; and Ferenc Dénes, sports economist and lecturer at the Institute of Sports Economics and Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Debrecen. The discussion will be moderated by Attila Borbély, university professor and President of the HEA Sports Economics Section.
