Economic Policy Challenges with an EU Perspective

The European Union Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) is organizing a professional roundtable discussion on the challenges of economic policy, with a particular focus on the perspectives arising from Hungary’s membership in the European Union. The event is inspired by the recent publication of Systems Come. Do They Go? by Péter Ákos Bod. The discussion will take place on Monday, 20 July 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Europe Point in Budapest (1024 Budapest, Lövőház u. 35.).

The discussion will be moderated by Gábor Iván, Director at the Council of the European Union and President of the HEA’s European Union Section.
