The 64th Itinerant Congress of Economists of the Hungarian Economic Association was successfully held in Eger on 10–11 September. During the two-day conference, around 80 speakers shared their thoughts with the 700 participants attending in person and, by now, an online audience of nearly 25,000(!).
The conference’s two plenary sessions, 16 on-site and 5 pre-recorded sessions are all available for viewing on the Congress website and on the HEA YouTube channel.

A document summarising the key conclusions and policy recommendations presented at the conference is already being prepared. Within a few weeks, the HEA Presidency will forward it to those responsible for shaping and implementing economic policy.
The 65th Itinerant Congress of Economists will be held on 2–3 September 2027 at the University of Miskolc, organised by the Hungarian Economic Association.
