The Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA)  will organise a professional event on the occasion of the 2023 Nobel Memorial Prize of the labour economist Claudia Goldin on Thursday, 7 December 2023, from 14:00 on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel.

Emőke Török, Associate Professor at the Institute of Social and Communication Sciences of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, will start the event with a tribute to the work of Harvard Professor Claudia Goldin. After her presentation, István Kopcsik, history teacher and member of the board of the Association of History Teachers, Judit Lakatos, former Senior Technical Advisor of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office and Katalin Nagy, former Counsellor of the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU, Managing Director of Socfactor Consulting Consulting Ltd. and member of the board of the Labour Section of the HEA will share their thoughts on the research topic of the recent Nobel Laureate, the analysis of the labour market situation of women.
