On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of KELER Central Depository Ltd., the Financial Section of the Hungarian Economic Association and the Magyar Nemzeti Bank will organise a professional event on Tuesday, 13 February 2024, from 14:00 at the MNB’s Sándor Lámfalussy Conference Centre (1013 Budapest, Krisztina körút 55.) and on the MNB’s YouTube channel.
Gábor Horváth, CEO of KELER Central Securities Depository Zrt., will present the past three decades and the ongoing developments of this key institution in the operation of the Hungarian money and capital market infrastructure. In addition to Gábor Horváth, the following panel discussion will feature Dániel Körmöczi, Advisor to CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange; Liu Wei-Wei, Head of Custody Business at Deutsche Bank AG Hungary and Tamás Paczolay, Head of Department of the Public Debt Management Centre. The discussion will be moderated by Miklós Luspay, Director of Financial Infrastructures and Cash Management at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. The participants will be welcomed by Péter Kolozsi Pál, Chairman of the Financial Department of the HEA, Director of the Central Bank’s Asset Register, Foreign Exchange Reserve and Risk Management.
