The Magyar Nemzeti Bank recently published an in-depth analysis of the factors behind domestic food inflation. Given the importance of the topic, the Economic Policy and Theory Section of the Hungarian Economic Association will hold an online workshop on the analysis on Wednesday, 20 March 2024, from 14:00 on Webex and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.
At the beginning of the event, András Balatoni, Director of Economic Forecasting and Analysis at the MNB and member of the Board of the Economic Policy and Economic Theory Section of the HEA, will present the main findings of the analysis, followed by a roundtable discussion with the relevant industry experts – Hedvig Szakács, former Managing Director of ZIMBO Perbál Kft. and ZIMBO Romania; Csaba Héjja, agriculture and food industry analyst of MBH Bank Nyrt. and Zsolt Kalmár, Commercial Director of Közért+ Zrt. The discussion will be moderated by András Mihálovits, editor of Millásreggeli.
