“Young People in the Post-Pandemic World” – under this title, the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association will organize an online professional conference on Thursday, October 2, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. on Webex and the HEA’s YouTube channel. The event is prompted by Eurofound’s survey on the situation of young people after Covid.
The opening lecture will be given by youth researcher Mariann Borbély-Pecze, Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Work of the John Wesley Theological College. Invited discussants: Péter Janovics, Head of Department at the Csongrád-Csanád County Government Office, and László Kocsis, Head of Department at the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Government Office. Moderator: Annamária Artner, Professor at Milton Friedman University, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of World Economics of ELTE’s Faculty of Social Sciences, and Board Member of the Labour Section of the HEA.
